I am further developing my public services skills and continue to "Be a Healing Presence." I began this path with my therapeutic musician studies in 2010, and in November of 2023 added chaplaincy to the mix.

I completed one Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) on February 22, 2024. I had to suspend my studies in April 2024 with Pacific Health Ministry following a positive cancer diagnosis. However, my goal is to resume my studies once I am better and become a chaplain for all - those "of faith" and those with no connection to a spiritual community or path - the"nones."

Pacific Health Ministry is accredited by the ACPE - The Standard for Spiritual Care and Education.

I am also concurrently enrolled in the Community Ministry Certificate program at Cherry Hill Seminary. If all goes well, I hope to be ordained/endorsed as a Minister in the Sacred Well Congregation.

My goal is to work toward Associate Board certification status in the Association for Professional Chaplains.

I am still reading and learning about providing spiritual care as I rest and recuperate from Stage IV colorectal cancer. I have a great team of physicians here in Hawaii and in Michigan also, and a great husband who is my medical concierge!
